Relocating the Whistlestop is building a new restaurant/lodge, plain and simple.
The reasons for moving it do not make logical sense. It is not in the way of any particular run and, in fact, is optimally located at the convergence of several runs and above the Lift 2 line. Thus, it is already in a prime position.
The Master Development Plan and Environmental Assessment do not provide enough information for an adequate evaluation to be performed. While we feel that renovation may be a good idea (including square footage for accommodating seated customers, any increase in water usage or sewage outflow should not occur without an adequate assessment at the level of an Environmental Impact Study.
